Actionable Steps:
- Catch the “All-or-Nothing” Voice.
- When you hear, “If it’s not perfect, it’s worthless,” pause and replace it with: “Done is better than perfect.”
- Set “Good Enough” Goals.
- Instead of aiming for flawless, ask: “What’s the goal that moves me forward—even if it’s messy?”
- Practice Failing Small.
- Intentionally let yourself be imperfect in small things—a typo in a text, leaving the dishes. Notice that the world doesn’t end.
- Shift from Outcome to Effort.
- Journal one thing each day you’re proud of—not because of results, but because of the courage or effort it took.
