Actionable Steps:
- Track Your Hours
- Awareness is the first step—write down how many hours you spend gaming in a week.
- Set Limits.
- Choose a daily or weekly cap for gaming time—and tell someone you trust to help keep you accountable.
- Replace, Don’t Just Remove.
- Fill the time you free up with something positive—exercise, reading, learning, or connecting with real people.
- Ask for Help.
- Whether it’s a therapist, a support group, or a trusted friend—don’t try to break free alone. Addiction loses power in community.
