Conquer Your Monkey

Blog

We all grapple with that inner voice, the “monkey” on our shoulder, sowing seeds of doubt. Have you felt haunted by failure echoes, questioning your worth and dreams? I’m battling my “monkey” too.

“Who do you think you are?” it screams. “Play small; it’s easier. You’re not enough.”

Yet, power lies in doing it afraid. Embrace vulnerability, acknowledge potential failure, and build the Faith Muscle in your true abilities.

  1. Doing it Afraid: Courage isn’t fear’s absence but acting despite it. Every step, even with trembling knees, is victory. Acknowledge fear but don’t let it dictate your actions.
  2. Trusting the Process: Growth is a journey; trust is your compass. Setbacks aren’t roadblocks but stepping stones. Each stumble strengthens the Faith Muscle.
  3. Building the Faith Muscle: Like a workout for physical strength, habits fortify faith. Affirmations, meditation, mentorship – build resilience to face the “monkey.”
  4. You Matter, You’re Worth the Fight: Amid self-doubt, remember – you matter. Your dreams are valid; you’re worth every effort. Silence the “monkey” by acknowledging your worth and true abilities daily.

Lean into habits building your Faith Muscle. Let courage guide; the journey matters as much as the destination. We’re united in battling our monkeys. Together, emerge stronger and resilient.
